Present Activities
As the Bornfree students have grown up and are implementing the Bornfree’s methodology as artists in their respective areas, we currently work with and support the young artists graduated from the Bornfree to empower rural and underprivileged children.
Art Workshops and Art Camps
Our current activities focus on Art Workshops and Art Camps for rural children to gain experiences and learn through arts in order to fill in the gaps of education due to less opportunities of extracurricular activities at government schools than private schools, which often result in drop-outs and forcing children into child labour.
Cultural Exchange and Peace Education with Japan
Besides Art Workshops and Art Camps, we teach Japanese language and Japanese culture such as Origami and Japanese Calligraphy Shuji for the rural children to learn from international exposure and peace education.
Hosting Japanese Tour and Youth Internship
We host people from Japan to visit our locations once a year and organize collaborative Art Workshops with them for the children. We also provide youth and students from India and other countries with internship experiences working through art for children and societies.
